Three Hebrew children faced off against a king who threatened to kill them unless they would bow down to the God he had created.  The furnace was to be the place where they were to become ash.  But when they stood tall for God, the heat of the flames were no match for the awesome power of God.  In fact, God met them right in the midst of that execution chamber.
